Join us for Down Home's 9th Annual Hoedown!

YeeHaw! Kick up your boots with us for a memorable evening celebrating all the Lord has done through Down Home. This event is fixin' to be a night to remember - country casual atmosphere, tasty vittles, saloon-style spirits, entertainment, and an exciting line-up of silent and live auction items.

What to wear: The dress-code is country casual! Grab your best western wear - cowboy boots, cowboy hats and flannels are all welcome.

When to arrive: Social hour starts at 4pm and program begins at 5pm. Get there during the social hour to grab drinks, bid on auction items, and connect with the other incredible attendees.

All funds raised during the event will help to continue our mission of furnishings homes, strengthening connections, and transforming communities. Founded in 2017, Down Home serves families in the Fargo-Moorhead area. To date, Down Home has furnished over 275 homes, impacting over 600 lives, and providing further connections beyond the move-in day. Every dollar raised goes towards ending the cycle of homelessness by creating homes and a community where people find stability, dignity, comfort, and connection.

Our 9th Annual Hoedown theme is "In The Arena" - the place where the work is hard, hands-on, and holy. Inspired by North Dakota Hero, Teddy Roosevelt's, famous speech, we believe "It is not the critic who counts; the credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena," who show up with courage, compassion, integrity and faith. Our work is "In The Arena" - we cross barriers and stand in the gap for families emerging from homelessness, ensuring they do not simply receive furniture, but experience the profound dignity of belonging. We invite our supporters to join us "In The Arena," to step into a mission trip in their own backyard, and transform empty spaces into places of refuge. Where beds become rest, tables become gathering places, and a couch becomes the first safe place to exhale after a tough day. Together, we are building futures beyond four walls - strengthening connections, restoring hope, and transforming our community one home at a time.
